Another case of illegal cannabis versus legal cannabis and eliminating competition to improve and/or maintain profits perhaps or is this a case of Mayor Adams and officials looking to maintain clean healthy cannabis cultivation and sales?! You be the judge as we discuss.
We keep things in NYC and talk the NY Knicks taking on the Indiana Pacers in our "Quick NY Knick" segment. We discuss this weekend's game 4 where the Knicks go into Indiana with a 2-1 series lead a bit banged up with a few injuries yet still resilient although the Pacers come into this game as the slight favorite.
Our next segment of "Grinch Gambles" takes us to the state of Vermont where regulators had to recall Holland Cannabis Co. products due to exposure to fungicide myclobutanil, which if you guessed it is terrible as it's a form of fungus. This brings up the discussion of whether cannabis that is deemed "safe" within dispensaries is actually as safe as perceived when compared to "illicit cannabis", listen in as lifted minds discuss and review.
Finally, we wrap up with our "Grinch Grub" segment, because after you grinch you gotta grub. With this being the "Mommajuana Weekend" episode we give our respect and salute to all moms out there actually handling business, nurturing, raising, and most importantly loving their children and being true mothers not just carrying the title of one. Season 1 Episode 30 (The DEA's Agrees)

This episode (30) is brought to you by Glitter Bomb! Glitter Bomb is an indica leaning hybrid that is known to pack some punch! We take a look at this announcement and decipher what it all means.
Our next segment of "Grinch Gambles" takes us to the state of Maine where if you have an egregious outstanding electricity bill to the tune of $9000, it will peak the interest of the authorities! The grower was apprehended as the authorities have been working on this case across not 1, not 5, but 20 states!! We discuss and pose the question, is this in the name of justice or in the name of protection of profit?! Legal versus illegal grows.
Lastly, we wrap up the episode with "Grinch Grub", since after you Grinch you gotta grub. Glitter Bomb stayed true to form as hunger was at a high (no pun intended lol). Mrs. Grinch saves the day with Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, Rice with mixed vegetables, and vegetable rolls. Needless to say there were no leftovers due to its deliciousness and the assistance of a workout and Glitter Bomb that made it necessary to feed the machine with literally the entire meal, no leftovers here lol. #GetGrinched

Season 1 Episode 29 (Sunday Shenanigans)

This episode (29) is brought to you by a 4/20 free agent festival acquisition by the name of Sherbert! Sherb, Sherbert, also known as Sherbet minus the "R" lol. Whichever pronunciation you prefer, it should be known that Sherbert is a indica-dominant hybrid which is spawned by crossing the ever so popular strain of "Girl Scout Cookies" with the provocatively named strain of "Pink Panties". On the Terpenes and THC tip Sherbert comes in flexing a 23% THC along with the tasty dominant terpene of Caryophyllene which has anti-inflammatory benefits. We also discuss festivities from this past weeks 4/20 and future events coming the the great first state of Delaware.
Next, we head to Massachusetts for a segment of "Bud Business" where the state awarded $2.35 Million in grant proceeds to 50 social equity businesses within the state thru the state's Cannabis Social Equity Trust Fund (CSETF). These grants were awarded to assist a pathway for all entrepreneurs especially those that have faced barriers via the "War on Drugs". The awards ranged from 20k-50k for the recipients. 
Our next segment takes us international for a spot of tea and Grinch across the pond to London (U.K.) where three apprehended individuals literally "WENT FOR IT" in our "Grinch Gambles" segment! According to the standard.co.uk $500,000 (dollars/pounds) worth of high grade Californian hybrid were seized from a London Hotel all alone by itself!? London police deemed that these vast amounts of Cannabis were being illegally smuggled to be sold all throughout London. It should be noted that in Europe and Africa product can be sold for 2-3x its worth here in the states. In other words, these three did their multiplication and saw the potential for $1-$1.5 Million, gambled and unfortunately loss. 
We wrap up with our typical segment of "Grinch Grub". Oggi e' una bella giornata! In other words to translate, today is a beautiful day :)! Ms. Grinch does her thing once again with some delicious pasta and Italian bread. So great, I had to make a plate...for now and later as the kids will annihilate if I don't lol.

Season 1 Episode 28 (Spring Fling 420)

Happy 420!! This episode (28) is brought to you by another 90's classic known as Sour Diesel. Sour aka Sour Deez is a very popular hybrid cult like strain that comes about by crossing Chemdawg with Super Skunk, so you know it's pungent lol. Sour Diesel is a fast acting energizing strain. On the THC tip Sour Deez comes in about 22% and it's dominant terpene is Myrcene. For many honey is a nature made organic sweetner harvested by bees that will sting away if there hive is threatened. Dispensary owners ('Honey') Joel Giambra and Darcell Thomas plan to cater to another sweet tooth for many...Cannabis, yes that's correct! Although an immense amount of criticism has been faced over the years these two remained steadfast in order to bring you 'Honey'. In our next segment, "Grinch Gambles" takes us back to the west coast in California. For years Mike Tyson was known for knocking out competition. Due to mold, California issued a mandatory recall of some of his Tyson branded cannabis. California's (DCC) issued a recall on products sold after August 24, 2023. Unfortunately this incident is on the heels of other dilemmas that have plagued California such as product safety and testing integrity.
Finally, we wrap up with our typical "Grinch Grub" segment where we will consume food at the Spring Fling 420 festival in Delaware. There are a slew of vendors that will help subside the hunger pains lol as long as it's not infused! :) It's 420 so we discuss plans for the holiday as well!

Season 1 Episode 27 (Dat Jack!)

This episode (27) is brought to you by an all-time classic by the name of, Jack Herer. Jack has many monikers such as "Platinum Jack", "Dat Jack" and "JH" to name a few. This strain is a sativa dominant one, that comes from the marijuana activist and author. The strain came about from crossing a haze hybrid with Northern Lights #5, and Shiva skunk. Terpene and THC wise, Jack is about 20% THC making it solid choice for most. JH's dominant terpene is Terpinolene, which can be commonly found in things such as apples and nutmeg. Jack Herer is great in assisting those battling anxiety, stress, and/or depression.
Our next segment of "Bud Business" takes us to Utah where the question may be posed, Dispensary vs. Unregulated sources what do customers prefer? Why do customers prefer one over the other? The numbers lead us to some interesting conclusions/hypotheses! Tune in as this is something that impacts or relates to all markets.
Our next segment, "Grinch Gambles" takes place in Oakland, CA where a cannabis raid led to $10 Million worth of illicit products! Many of you may be wondering, "I thought cannabis was legal in CA?!" You're correct, however many states like CA where cannabis has been legalized still have to grapple with unregulated sources that will probably continue to exist due to high taxes and fees that are imposed on licensed cannabis establishments.
Lastly, we wrap up with our "Grinch Grub" segment because after you grinch one must grub. This was a Grinch Grub quick pick as the week was a hectic one nevertheless. The quick pick protein pack, which consisted of tuna and a large protein shake (workout) to feed the machine!

Season 1 Episode 26 (Dank Tank & Earthquakes)

We stay within the legal system and go back to New York as cannabis tech firm Leafly obtained a legal victory as a recent court found NY's cannabis marketing and advertising regulations were found to be unconstitutional striking down the regulations.
Next, we head to Buffalo, NY and the east coast for another segment of "Grinch Gambles", where 716 Cannabis dispensary unfortunately was the victim of theft according to the tune of approximately $400,000!! Was this a case of an inside job? Could this be an insurance ploy? Tap in as we discuss and share theories.

This "Grinch Gambles" segment stars a driver who was arrested after a "routine" traffic stop allowed WPD (Weed Police Department) to discover 150 pounds of marijuana along with a few thousand dollars in cash. According to the WPD they've seized an immense amount of marijuana via "routine" traffic stops...coincidence or what?!
All of this weed talk of course can get one hungry, therefore Bud & Blue close the episode out with  "Grinch Grub", Blue goes in and off the rails in true Blue entertaining fashion lol!

The proposal was passed by the Judiciary and Hawaiian Affairs Committee by a vote of 7-3 and the Agriculture and Food Systems Committee by a vote to 5-1. This bill would legalize adult-use cannabis possession starting January 1, 2026. This bill would also regulate cultivation, distribution, and manufacturing of cannabis products. Hooray for Hawaii, pass the Maui Mowie lol!!!
Next we head to the state of Louisiana, New Orleans to be exact for our Grinch Gambles segment. Wahhhhhhhhhh Wodey!!!! New Orleans is so lit, even the rats are on that cannabis pack lol!!! According to WGNO the chief of the NOPD stunned many members from the city council with details that rats, yes, rats have over run the NOPD!! Tune in to see how and why the rats are going bonkers so much that not even police can handle them!
In our final segment, Grinch Grub Bud and Blue discuss a question posed by many cannabis partakers across the globe. Who has the best fried chicken???
